Our bar soaps are all made with 40% olive oil along with other high-grade vegetable oils, such as coconut (adds lather to the bar), palm oil (helps make the bar hard), castor oil (another lather booster), and shea butter (another excellent moisturizer!). We also use Goats milk in our soaps - helps make a full, creamy, lather.
Since our soap is handmade it retains all the moisturizing glycerin that is a natural by-product of the soapmaking process. (Big commercial soapmakers press the glycerin out of their soap so it can be used in other products). Our bars are 3 1/2" tall, 2" wide and 1" thick and weigh 4+ oz. If you choose the unlabeled/unmanicured bar the size will vary depending on added soap curls, etc. but you do get more soap for the same price.
